Reverend Larry Robinson became the pastor of Harry Hosier United Methodist Church on July 1, 2011 after serving the Lord for over 25 years as a Minister of the Gospel. Harry Hosier UMC has an active membership recently recognized by the Fayetteville District for its missions outreach and giving in the community and around the globe.
Rev. Robinson came to us from New Hope UMC in Rowland, North Carolina. Rev. Robinson and his wife, Sharon Jones-Robinson reside here in Fayetteville.
Rev. Robinson is a native of Robeson County, NC.
He graduated from Orrum High School in 1973 and from Methodist College, (now University) in 1978 with his Bachelor of Arts Degree. Reverend Robinson was ordained as a Deacon in 1985, and ordained as an Elder in Full Connection in 1989. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Inter-denominational Theological Center, Atlanta, Georgia.
His hobby is competitive tennis. His favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal and he enjoys watching any Grand Slam or tournament that Rafael Nadal is playing in.
Reverend Robinson enjoys serving here at Harry Hosier, and I know we enjoy his service.
